22nd Street Closure Delayed One Day

The city of Greeley's closure of 22nd Street between 10th and 11 avenues for asphalt repair work has been delayed until tomorrow, June 13. The C parking lot will still be accessible from 23rd Street.

Degree Works Unavailable June 16

Degree Works will be unavailable Friday, June 16, while required upgrades are installed. It will be available again on June 17. Email Stacy Sharp to report any issues or problems you encounter after the upgrade.

Flipped Learning Pioneer to Speak June 14 at UNC Conference

Jon Bergmann, one of the developers of the flipped classroom concept and chief academic officer of the Flipped Learning Global Initiative, will present the welcoming keynote address for UNC's second annual Higher Education Flipped Learning Conference at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, in Ross 1010. His address will follow a 9 a.m. welcome by UNC Provost Robbyn Wacker. About 50 seats, which are free for UNC-affiliated individuals, are still available on a first-come, first-served basis. June Payday Information

In 2003, Senate Bill 03-197 moved the end-of-the-month payday for state employees for June to the first working day in July. Alert 198 from the state controller's office has moved the payday for employees paid semi-monthly back to the last business day of June. Therefore, monthly pay will be paid on Monday, July 3, and semi-monthly pay for time worked June 1-15, will be paid on Friday, June 30. If you have questions, contact Payroll at 351-2700.

Emergency Alert System to be Tested June 14

A test of UNC's Emergency Alert Messaging System will be conducted about noon on Wednesday, June 14. The test message will be sent to UNC email accounts, text-enabled campus phones, subscribed cell phones (text message) and campus emergency poles. If you want to sign up to receive emergency alert text messages on your cell phone or if your cell phone number changed recently, instructions are available on the Emergency Alert System website.

Free Subscriptions to Online Greeley Tribune

As part of the university's agreement with the Greeley Tribune, UNC students and employees can get complimentary subscriptions to the online edition of the daily newspaper by filling out the online form at www.greeleytribune.com/collegesubs.

If you already have digital access to the Tribune, there's no need to fill out and submit the form.
