CCE Seeks Proposals for Next ‘Facing Project'

On the heels of the successful completion of UNC's first year as a member of The Facing Project, a national initiative helping university campuses face issues in their communities, the Office of Community and Civic Engagement seeks proposals from faculty for issues to address as part of the project during the upcoming academic year, with a submission deadline of June. 30.

Examples of issues might include "Facing K-12 Education: Educating Greeley," "Facing Employment: Working Greeley" or another topic related to your teaching or scholarly expertise and interests.

Students will form writing teams and will receive professional training on interviewing techniques and storytelling. They'll then interview Greeley community members to collect personal stories on change. The stories will culminate in a published product due for dissemination in spring 2018.

For more information about this project or to participate, view this PDF or contact the Office of Engagement by June 30 at cce@unco.edu.

Contacting the Facilities Management Service Center

Help the Facilities Management Service Center provide the best possible customer service to the university community by emailing requests or inquiries to service.center@unco.edu rather than to an individual staff member's address. That way, the request or inquiry will be seen by everyone who works at the center. An email to an individual who's out sick or on vacation may not be seen and acted upon until they return.
